Without a doubt, September 11 is a date engraved in the collective memory of the tragic events suffered in the United States in 2001.
But what most of you may not know, is that September 11 is a date engraved in the memory of the majority of Catalans. I am referring to the fall of the city of Barcelona after 14 months of siege by Bourbon troops on that date in 1714. It is commemorated in Catalonia with an event called the Catalan diada or Catalan national day.
The fusion called VISCAT is composed of a work by Antoni Estruch i Bros “Corpus de sang), which recreates the famous Reapers' revolt (June 7, 1640) that would lead, initially, to the proclamation of the first Catalan Republic in 1641.

Excellent! On ressent la gravité du moment... la révolte du peuple (celle des Faucheurs de l'époque ou lors d'un penalty raté ....).
Félicitations à l'artiste de la fusion!
